• Short block assembled with a premium 10/10 NF(Nodular Forged) crank, .060 over KB Hyperutectic 10.25 to 1 pistons, resized connecting rods w/Pioneer rod bolts, and a hi volume oil pump. The cam is a Comp Cams Xtreme Energy with .510 lift and 296 Dur. with Scorpion high acicular carbide race lifters. The heads are GM with swirl polished 2.02 and 1.60 valves. The oil pan is a Mr Gasket polished aluminum “retro” street rod pan and with the vintage Edelbrock Tarantula intake it has both “old style” looks and incredible throttle response and power. An Accel HEI Distributor with an Accel Super Coil, chrome valve covers and a Performance Products harmonic balancer round out the package.
